About Pharmabio Développement

Pharmabio Développement, the sectorial workforce committee for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in Quebec, is a non-profit corporation, representing representatives of employers' associations, businesses, unions and government organizations.

Supported financially by the Commission des Partenaires du marché du travail (CPMT), the sectoral workforce committee's mission is to participate in the development of the workforce and employment in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.

Pharmabio Développement aims to be a place of consultation and mobilization of the various players in the industry in improving and maintaining the skills of workers in the sector.

• Support and advise its industry and education partners in the development of solutions
• Establish activities aimed at supplying all of its partners with tools, programs and information
• Play a leading role in collecting and analyzing industry data and trends
• Foster all partnership and concertation initiatives promoting skills development, workforce development and the maintenance of a high level of skills among the industry workforce
• To arouse the interest of young people in science in order to ensure the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry of a succession ready to take up key positions
