Need to Access a Database of Quebec Patients? Keep CARTaGENE in Mind!

The research community, whether from the private or public sector, is invited to discover CARTaGENE’s services during the Café Croissant being held on October 20 at 8:15 a.m.

Several researchers have already expressed the need for easier access to local patient data to advance their research, which is why CARTaGENE was created.

CARTaGENE’s goal is to accelerate health research and reduce its costs by making both a database and biological samples from 43,000 Quebecers available to researchers. CARTaGENE’s databases contain health, environmental, nutrition, genetic, and imaging data. CARTaGENE participants also consented to having their data matched with data collected by government agencies (RAMQ, MSSS, ISQ, INSPQ). As such, CARTaGENE offers a service that facilitates access to this medical-administrative data and supports researchers in this regard.

During the webinar, CARTaGENE will introduce its full range of services and answer all your questions.

For More Information

CARTaGENE is both a databank and biobank. This public infrastructure aims to facilitate health research and population genomics research while contributing to the development of better diagnostic tools, treatments, and disease prevention programs. Access to CARTaGENE is granted to researchers focusing on personalized medicine, genomics, and public health, among others.
